Cross Country Competition
On Thursday, 22nd January we took part in the 'St. Clere's family of Primary Schools' cross country competition. All our competitors tried really hard and ran well. The Year 5 boys' team and the Year 5 girls' team won their races and will now take part in the Thurrock cross country competition.
Thank you to all the supporters for their encouragement. Mrs. Garbo-Miller was very proud of all the competitors.
Results: Year 3 girls: Lucy Grover 3rd, Paige Button 18th. Year 3 boys: Sonny Dobson 4th, Mason Campbell 5th, Daniel Pond 23rd, Harry Green 26th.
Year 4 girls: Cassandra Aina 15th. Year 4 boys: Max Jex 5th, Lewis Tansley 20th, Rory Cox 21st, Bradley Scott 23rd.

East Tilbury Library News
Jenny and Maureen would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank you for the support you have given the Library, especially over the last six months. They would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of the services the Library provides.
On Tuesday morning there is rhyme time between 11am and 11.30am for the under 5's.
From 3.45pm to 5.45pm on Tuesdays there are arts and crafts for all ages. On Thursday there are arts and crafts for the under 5's. These services all come free of charge.
Also, if your child is 18 months old, they are entitled to receive a free book bag and when your child reaches the age of 3 they are eligible for a free treasure box. You can collect these from the Library during opening hours.
