Whilst attacks by strangers on children may be rare, they are everyone's worst nightmare.
A stranger is someone you don't know. Most strangers are nice but some are nasty and want to hurt children.
Please remind your children of the following:
NEVER ....... go with a stranger, take things from a stranger, get in a car with a stranger, go off on your own without telling your parents or carer.
Make your child aware of who they can trust such as a uniformed police officer, teacher or trusted adult.
